TANCET 2013 Important Dates
The GATE score of a candidate reflects the relative performance level of a candidate. The score is used for admissions to various post-graduate programmes (eg. M.E., M.Tech, direct Ph.D.) in Indian higher education institutes with financial assistance provided by MHRD and other Government agencies. The score may also be used by Public sector units for employment screening purposes.
GATE 2013 Important Dates
Tamilnadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) is common entrance test conducted by Anna University, Chennai on the recommendation of Tamilnadu government. TANCET test assures the ranks and eligibility for joining academic course for Management program slike MBA/ MCA or Engineering programs like ME/ M.Tech./ M.arch/ M.plan.
This Test is consider for Degree Programmes in the year 2013 – 2014 offered at University Departments, University Colleges of Engineering, Regional Centres of Anna University, Government and Government Aided Engineering Colleges and Arts & Science Colleges and Self-financing Colleges (Engineering, Arts & Science Colleges including standalone Institutions) in Tamilnadu. Some Universities and Self–Financing Engineering Colleges may also opt to admit the candidates on the basis of marks obtained in TANCET 2013 for joining management and egineering programs

GATE 2013 Entrance Test
Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an all India examination that primarily tests the comprehensive understanding of various undergraduate subjects in Engineering and Technology. GATE is conducted jointly by the Indian Institute of Science and seven IITs (IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras and IIT Roorkee) on behalf of the National Coordination Board – GATE, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India.
