Consistent with the National Education Policy of 1986, Government decided to delink Pre-degree Courses from colleges in a phased manner and to introduce 10+2 system in the High Schools of Kerala. Accordingly, Kerala Higher Secondary Department was formed in 1990 and the course was introduced in 31 selected Government high schools in the State to reorganize secondary and collegiate education. The two-year course was named as Higher Secondary (Plus Two) Course.

The Kerala State Board  announced the time table for the academic year 2011-12 to the class of HSC and SSLC.

Council For The Indian School Certificate Examination
The council was established in 1958 by the University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate to ensure that its examinations become adapted to the educational needs of the country and assign the ultimate control of the same on the COUNCIL. About AIPMT:-
Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi takes responsible for conducting All India Pre-Medical/Dental Test (AIPMT) each year. As per the schedule for admission 15% of the total seats for Medical/Dental Courses in all Medical/Dental Colleges run by the Union of India, State Governments, Municipal and other local authorities in India except in the States of ANDHRA PRADESH AND JAMMU. This medical test is very keen for getting into the field of medicine in a top colleges in India. All the governmental institution and university of india consider this test for the allotment of admission.

Important Dates:-
χ. AIPMT Preliminary Examination - 1st April, 2012 (Sunday) 
χ. AIPMT Final Examination - 13th May, 2012 (Sunday)

Eligibility for AIPMT:
  • He/She has completed age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete the age on or before 31st December of the year of his/her admission to the 1st year M.B.B.S./B.D.S. course and is an INDIAN NATIONAL. 
  • The upper age limit for All India Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Entrance Examination is 25 years as on 31st December of the year of the entrance examination. Further provided that upper age limit shall be relaxed by a period of 5 (five) years for the candidates of Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes/Other Backward Classes.
  • The number of attempts which a candidate can avail at All India Pre-Medical/Pre- Dental Entrance Examination shall be limited to 3 (three) uniformly for all the candidates.
  • The candidate must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology at the qualifying examination.
  • In respect of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes or Other Backward Classes the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together in qualifying examination be 40% instead of 50% for General Candidates. Further, for persons for locomotory disability of lower limbs, the minimum of 45% marks for General-PH and 40% marks for SC-PH/ST-PH/OBC-PH are required. Those who are taking plus two examination in 2012 can also appear for the entrance test provisionally subject to their fulfilling the conditions later.
  •  15% seats for SC candidates, 7.5% seats for ST candidates, 27% seats for non-creamy layer OBC candidates in Central Institutions only and 3% seats on horizontal basis for Physically Handicapped candidates are reserved in 15% All India Quota for MBBS/BDS courses.

About AIPGMEE

All India Institute of Medical Sciences conducts a competitive entrance examination on all-India basis for admission to 50% of the total number of Ministry of Health & FW/MCI/DCI recognized/approved/permitted seats of Government Medical/ Dental Colleges for various postgraduate courses (MD/MS/Diploma and MDS). Eligibility for IIT JEE-2012
Date of Birth:
  1. General (GE) and Other Backward Classes (OBC) category candidates must have been born on or after October 1, 1987. Those born earlier are not eligible to appear in IIT-JEE 2012.
  2. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and those with Physical Disability (PD) must have been born on or after October 1, 1982. SC/ST/PD candidates born before October 1, 1982 are not eligible to appear in IIT-JEE 2012.
  3. The date of birth as recorded in the high school/first Board/Pre-University certificate will be accepted. If the certificate does not mention the date of birth, a candidate must submit along with the application, an authenticated document indicating the date of birth.

       AIEEE Stands for All India Engineering Entrance Examination conducted by CBSE in yearly basis.This Exam is intend for the admission to Engineering and Architecture/Planning programmes at the undergraduate level. This Exam was intrduced in 2002, since then this program conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education(CBSE) for all B.E, B.Tech, B.Plannig and B.Arch.

AIEEE Exam Pattern:
